A short note of welcome from Carmel and Sean.

The Ring Farm lies in the heart of Ely O' Carroll country and from the air, it resembles a Tara Brooch. Geologists and historians remain mystified as to the origins of the perfect circle, but it is thought to have been created in the latter part of the 18th century, perhaps on the site of an earlier castle moat.

The family roots go back at least ten generations on this farm which today is also the home of the Birr herd of Pedigree Fresian cows and their offspring.
